Youth Director
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma. Some college hours. Pursuing a related degree preferred. Familiarity with Christian Biblical principles. Seminary student or seminary graduate highly preferred.
Experience
Experience working with elementary, junior high, or high school students in a supervisory capacity. Life experiences which show commitment to a Christian life style. Connections with or ability to connect with Pryor youth community preferred.
Skills Required
High energy level. Ability to communicate effectively with young people as well as adults. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion. Ability to plan and coordinate activities with creativity and follow through with plans. Self-motivated, reliable and organized. Familiarity with social media.
Duties
Coordinate youth activities and programming. Attend some local school and community events to support youth. Recruit un-churched youth. Coordinate activities with minister and education teams. Activities to include but not limited to mission work, Christian education, youth worship, fellowship, and recreation. Serve as director of summer vacation Bible school program. Remain available at times of the day and week that youth are available for activities. Plan and execute 5 to 8 youth activities per month. Immediate Supervisor: Church Pastor

- Salary: $500 to $1000 per month, depending upon experience and skills.
